004 = special episode !

 

This is a special episode, exclusively created with original tracks by members of SOUNDCLOUD.com community !

For this Session, I really wanted to make something more collaborative. So I have explored Soundcloud.com. After weeks of listening, I have discovered interesting artists and pleasant tracks.

Now, I’m thinking of making 3 others mixes like that in 2012 ! In fact one per season !

Waow ! 2011 is almost over ! And we have heard so many good tracks !

Here are a few personal comments on what you can find in the SRS 003.

“Axwell VS Ryan Enzed”

This is the first track of the session.

It’s also the first bootleg I have ever produced. I feel really excited about that ! Swedish producer Axwell has provided the voice sample this week and I worked on it on Monday. The background track is “FTCA” by Ryan Enzed, a very interesting producer. Check his website  for more information.

I have a few ideas for fresh bootlegs and I will be pleased to present those tracks in 2012 !


“Nillonaire” by Alesso

I really like the way melodies work together. 


“Lick the Rainbow” by Mord Fustang

This track has really blasted me ! It was my first “contact” with what is called “complextro”. Complextro is a method of producing in which the composer create a riff by fragmenting the melody between a lot of different sounds playing during short amount of time. The track “FTCA” also works in the same way. 


“Heart is King” by Axwell

I must confess: among the Swedish House Mafia members, I have a little preference for Axwell ! “Heart is King” shows how “musical” he his. I mean the melodies are really catchy and emotional. I love it !


“Raise your weapon” by Deadmau5 (Madeon Extended Remix)

I really love this track ! Very powerful and emotional at the same time. The level of production and the complexity are really impressive


“Lunar” by David Guetta and Afrojack

Ok, it sounds a little bit like “Derezzed” by Daft Punk in the movie “Tron legacy” but it’s a really massive track.
